My Approach to Mental Health Care
I have been helping people navigate some of the most difficult moments of their lives — depression that refuses to lift, anxiety that won’t quiet down, addictions that feel impossible to break, and thoughts that make the world feel unmanageable.
I was trained in psychiatry at Manipal and went on to earn my Fellowship from the Indian Psychiatric Society (FIPS).
Before establishing PK Neuropsychiatry & Counselling Centre, i have served as Chief Psychiatrist at NMPT for 15 years and at MRPL for 5 years — institutions that trusted him with the mental health of thousands of employees and their families.
My approach is simple: listen carefully, explain clearly, and treat the whole person — not just the diagnosis. Whether it’s a child struggling with attention, an adult battling sleepless nights, or a family dealing with a loved one’s addiction, i bring the same steady, judgement free presence to every consultation.
I don’t believe in rushing consultations. When someone walks into my clinic, they deserve time, honesty, and a clear plan forward.
